Beijing Blue Note: Hutong rhythm and Jazz

Among all blue note clubs, the underground spaces always make people feel stifling. It’s challenging to create an underground space of relaxation. We used the Beijing hutong spactial experience as an inspiration, gradually bringing audience from the ground level into the underground performing space. The transition of space is accompanied by hutong like rhythms and turns. And the main performing space is shaped like a Beijing courtyard house, with audience surrounding the central stage on orthogonal axis.

The atmosphere and music of Blue Note is the core attraction of the brand. The New York inspired decoration style, lighting effects, the concert’s program and easy performance style, all reflect Blue Note's high pursuit of music quality and artistic experience. This unique combination makes Blue Note Beijing a destination for jazz lovers.
