Incheon Arts Center: the poetry of rocks

The architects of Incheon Opera was inspired by their wandering around the Incheon seaside, and the folk stories of wives waiting on rocks for their sea-faring husbands. The concert hall and opera house were conceived as giant rocks. These rocks, the sweeping breeze, and the silvery shoreline gave the place a unique scene. “how to create a place where the common people like to go, rather than just an international opera house. It can be a place for people to remember the past, as the modernity and skyscarpers takes over in the background.
